Allyson Boies is the Vice President of Land at Extraction Oil and Gas, Inc. Since joining Extraction in 2013, Mrs. Boies has held various positions, most recently as Land Director. In her current role, Mrs. Boies leads a dynamic team of landmen responsible for the acquisitions and divestitures that allows for responsible growth and execution of Extraction’s corporate strategy.
Prior to joining Extraction, Mrs. Boies worked for both Forest Oil and Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City. Through her involvement in both the land and legal departments of these companies, Mrs. Boies developed a unique respect for the intersection of the legal and land transactions at an exploration and production company. Mrs. Boies is able to use her experience at the nexus of land and legal to deftly maneuver between both worlds.
Mrs. Boies received her law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree is Public Policy from Southern Methodist University.
